History
Since man first wrapped skins & furs around his/her feet over 15,000 years ago, there has been a need for people who are able to repair this most important form of clothing and protection. The oldest surviving shoe, found in California, dates back more than 9000 years.
The patron Saints of cobblers, tanners & leather workers are St.Crispin and
St.Crispinian, twin brothers whom preached by day and made shoes by night.
Their feast day is celebrated on October 25th.
Our methods have definitely changed since then and we can offer the present-day shoe/sandal/moccasin/platform wearer a wide range of skilled services.
